OK City best place to launch a new business

 CNNMoney just released its list of the 50 best places to launch a new business and the number one spot goes to our neighbors to the north, Oklahoma City.  Oklahoma City scores points for having the second lowest foreclosure rate and second lowest median rent among large metropolitan areas.  CNNMoney also noted that OK City has a concentration of deep pocketed investors from the oil and gas industry of years past.  In fact the biggest knock on the city to our north is its lack of professional sports franchises.  I am not real sure why having professional sports is beneficial to launching a business, but I guess the startups in Oklahoma City will have to make the drive south to Dallas to get their sports fix.
