GM says it’s ready to tackle small cars

This is the headline in Automotive News today. GM has apparently realized that it has some newly discovered way to make money selling small cars.

HELLO...where were you with that report 30 years ago when Toyota first showed up on the scene or maybe even 2 years ago when Toyota overtook you in new car sales? Did someone not get the memo that the company filed for bankruptcy and so now they look like idiots to come out and say "Oh wait, wait NOW we know what to do. We have the answer.. a way to make small cars and to do it profitably!"

PLEASE will someone turn off the marketing machine at General Motors, it is obviously on auto pilot.
